   Shooter Awards

As 2007 came to a close the Johnston FOP Lodge 16 recognized two brothers for their shooting prowess.

The Top Shooter Awards 2007 went to :
Detective Joseph Arcuri who won the Captain Leo E. O'Donnell Shooters Cup, with a score of 98 with 36X.
While the Lieutenant John Sinott Shooters Trophy went to Patrolman Seth Crosby,  with a score of 100 with 39X. This is Patrolman’s Crosby's third win in five years of this prestigious award.

Mayor Polisena Shares Words of   Encouragement


The Johnston FOP Lodge 16 is an active organization in the Town of Johnston has recently met with the Mayor regarding its new website and its continuing community outreach.
The Johnston FOP Lodge 16 instituted its new site to help bring awareness to the  the people of Johnston about its mission and fund raising efforts.

Mayor  Polisena indicated his support for the outreach efforts. " I am so pleased that the Johnston FOP Lodge 16 has initiated a new web site.  I congratulate them on their efforts, but mostly wish to thank them for their tireless service to this community.  This is an organization that raises money for the people of Johnston; providing everything from baseball shirts, to scholarships, to help for the sick, to support for our elderly, the Johnston FOP remains a integral part of the Town of Johnston and wish them well in their new endeavor, which will only strengthen our community.” 

Johnston FOP Lodge 16, remains committed to serve the community. Dave DeTora President said, "We are so pleased with the support of the Mayor and are happy to serve the people of this great community."
